Kang Si Young is a legendary anesthesiologist, who was always at the top of her class throughout medical school. The talented doctor inherited her skills from her cool-headed, rational mother, while she inherited her empathy, listening skills, and warm bedside manner from her father.

The improbable romance that unfolds between the two characters named Louis, who is able to buy everything he wants, and the angelic girl named Koh Bok Shil, shows the viewers that the value of true love is priceless and is not something that can be bought.

This drama is based on Chinese novel “Bu Bu Jing Xin” by Tong Hua which was originally published online in 2005 on Jinjiang Original Network. The novel also adapted into the chinese television series “Scarlet Heart” which was aired in Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) from 2011-Sep-10 to 2011-Sep-29 and also “Scarlet Heart 2” which was aired in Zhejiang STV (ZJTV) from 2014-Apr-22 to 2014-May-07.

This drama was fully pre-produced before airing which is a departure from the live-shoot production format that characterizes most Korean dramas. The Filming Began on 2016-Jan and Completed on 2016-June-30. The series will be simulcast in China.

When a total eclipse of the sun takes place, a 21st-century woman, Go Ha Jin, is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. She wakes up in the body of 16-year-old Hae Soo, an aristocrat living with Lady Hae, her cousin who happens to be married to one of the sons of King Taejo. She soon befriends several of the princes, who find her carefree and exuberant attitude refreshing. A family crisis arises when a respected tailor suddenly leaves home.

Lee Man Sool is a master tailor who has been trying to preserve the dying art of making custom men’s suits from scratch through his family-owned business, Laurel Tree Tailor Shop, which has been in business for almost 100 years. However, Man Sool one day departs without notice, leaving only a note behind for his wife, Choi Gok Ji; twice-divorced daughter, Lee Dong Sook; Dong Sook’s daughter, Kim Da Jung; and son, Lee Dong Jin. Man Sool knows that his old-fashioned tailor shop is a dying business and asks his family to sell it for him while he is away because he doesn’t have the heart to do it himself.

Man Sool’s old apprentice, Bae Sam Do, who now runs a fried chicken business with his wife, Bok Sun Nyeo, is devastated by the news of his old master’s disappearance and wants to return to the tailor shop, but Sun Nyeo is still smarting over his past failed tailor businesses and forbids it.

Man Sool’s employees, seamstresses Na Yun Shil and Geum Choon Daek, want to keep the business open until the master tailor’s return, but Yun Shil keeps having bad experiences every time she runs into Dong Jin.

When Dong Jin’s wife, Min Hyo Joo, divorces him after he is unseated as the president of her father’s company, Meesa Apparel, by Hyo Joo’s stepbrother, Min Hyo Sang, and stepmother, Han Eun Sook, Dong Jin decides to return to his father’s tailor shop.

Meanwhile, Yun Shil’s friend, Kang Tae Yang, is dumped by his longtime girlfriend, television announcer Choi Ji Yeon, while Dong Sook is determined to help washed-up singer Sung Tae Pyung get back on his feet.

He was a genius but he was also a stubborn surgeon who does not care for hospital politics. It ended up only LES and NHS were the only doctors who applied for residency and they were accepted with great reluctance after being rejected outright by Dr. CKG.
