The Idol Star Athletics Championships return after a 2-year hiatus as a Chuseok Special. New games such as track, archery, futsal, dance sports, and even e-sports will be introduced to help everyone see the various charms of many idols. The man who hosted the event for 10 years, Jun Hyun Moo, the living legend of the first Championships, Lee Hong Gi, and the beloved mascot, Dahyun, will be hosting this year's event. THE BOYZ: GOD-SAENG will show The Boyz's honest and unpretentious real appearance as they put down their glamorous idols on stage for a while and enjoy their daily lives to the extent that 24 hours a day are not enough. "THE ORIGIN - A, B, or What?" is an audition program that will unveil its mega boy group project planned by IST Entertainment (The home of Apink, VICTON, THE BOYZ, Bandage and Weeekly) jointly produced with Kakao Entertainment and Sony Music Solution.

“THE ORIGIN – A, B, or What?” is a differentiated audition program in which 13 trainees compete to perform the best "balance game" and the final line up selected by the public. The chosen members would be debuting in a new boy group in the first half of 2022.

The contestants consisting of trainees in their mid to late teens, are hidden gemstones that have been discovered through several global auditions as well as in Korea and have a perfect balance in both skills and visuals.

It is a music variety show that puts a singer against contestants who say they have perfected impersonating the singer’s voice. An audience then tries to vote out all of the impersonators after hearing all of them sing.

“Idols On The Quiz” will invite K-pop idols from different nationalities to take part in a unique quiz. Jung Hyung Don is a veteran of idol variety shows, has been the MC of JTBC’s “Idol Room” and MBC every1’s “Weekly Idol,” and Jang Sung Kyu has been rising in recent years, known for his honesty and variety chops. The two are close in real life, with Jung Hyung Don even giving Jang Sung Kyu his “Line-crossing Jang Sung Kyu” nickname, so anticipation is rising for their chemistry on the show.

Sequel of Queendom. Male artists will release songs on the same day at the same time to compete on music charts.

Participating groups are: PENTAGON, ONF, GOLDEN CHILD, THE BOYZ, VERIVERY, ONEUS, TOO.

The show invites idols who are making a comeback to eat with Lee Young Ja and Kim Sook at a rural farmhouse where they will discuss music and eat customized recipes. The title is a play on a word for “food” in Korean (밥, which they are romanizing as “bob”) and “K-pop.”

This year, archery, track and field, pitching, penalty shootout, equestrian are the major events. Also, e-sports is part of the lineup since it garnered popularity last Chuseok. The floor MCs will be JooE and Lee Dae Hwi.
