Gao Hao Sheng, is a new teacher with a dark past, becoming friend and mentor to his students: Wei Jie - a notorious young bully, Fang Xiao Fen - an underage escort, Ou Wen Zhou - a bullied teen, and delinquents Lu Yi Feng, Lin Mei Chen, Sun Ruo Lu, and Xiao Shu. As complications begin to brew outside of the school hierarchy, will these students survive?

Age of Rebellion is a dark drama which explores the lives of teenagers at the bottom of the social chain; issues of emotional vulnerability, poverty, and violence.

The only reason money-grabbing magazine editor Chen Miao Ru and unambitious salary man Ren Xiao Guo got married was because of money. Miao Ru got caught in a money bind flipping houses. Pooling their resources was the only way to prevent a financial meltdown of her own. But married life was nothing like their peaceful dating life. Soon, they were on the verge of divorce. Yet, Ren didn't want a divorce. Then, a mysterious computer program in the county clerk's bathroom allowed him to press Ctrl + Z to return to earlier part of their lives and make edits to their past.

Zeng Ai Xing, a smart, street-wise, clever and passionate girl, meets Meng Jing Jing, a beautiful, rich, mean and stubborn girl. They first come of as sworn enemies, but once they came into each others lives, they began to understand each other and became best friends. As best friends, they decided to make their dreams come true together, Ai Xing wants to become rich and save her family from poverty while Jing Jing wants to find a family which she can selfishly love to herself. Meng Jing Jing has her eyes set on Du Tian Ze, A pro bono lawyer (professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment or at a reduced fee as a public service) with a kind heart and loving attitude. Zeng Ai Xing on the other hand, has a man from her real estate job, more specifically - her boss; Ren Wei! But tragedy strikes when Du Tian Ze and Meng Jing Jing get into an accident and get separated from each other... Broken heart-ed Tian Ze lives with Ai Xing from then on, but when Jing Jing comes back, she has lost all her memory with Tian Ze, but they fall back into love and remember each other again. But when Meng Jing Jing family hits bankrupt, and gets into debt, she finds her self into the scemes of Ren Wei, as Jing Jing has to find love with Ren Wei, Ai Xing is left with the comfort of Tian Ze, which becomes a disaster...

The story is set in the middle of ancient China's Ming Dynasty: Four martial art experts, led by emperor's uncle, formed an imperial secret service, called them self "The Dragon's Protectors." Immediately after they have foiled the assasination attempt of the emperor, a complex and devious conspiracy of treason, which involved a Japanese Samurai gang, was also unveiled. Just as the team head into the clues and investigate deeper into the web, they soon discover a small connection linking them back to their own organization. As in result, each prominent member of the Protectors team must to use their skill, wisdom and expertise, to solve the mystery that threatens the very existence of the "Dragon's Protectors."

Prime minister's disapperance and attacks on his successor Ai Xin forced special agent Qiu Mo Yu to hide the girl in Dragon Gate, a lawless ghetto where underworld dwellers do business and residents protect their own. Her boyfriend Zhou Huai An followed her there soon after. As reward for their whereabout increased, they became luring targets for every bounty hunter in town. Although Dragon Gate boss, Jin Xiang Yu, gave them sanctuary, they couldn't determine if the woman was their ally helping them to uncover the plot behind the attacks or working for their enemy to trap them in Dragon Gate.

There, she meets three men, who each for their own reasons, are also escaping to this town to avoid dealing with their personal problems. Although they are meeting at the worst time in their lives, they help one another learn to be selfless, brave, and trustworthy in love.

When a case of lost wallet led her to Zheng Da Shan, she thought she had found the perfect father figure. His wise counsel comforted her during a tumultuous time in her life. She began to envy his son Zheng Yu En for having him as a parent. Their relationships became complicated when the son expressed his love interest in her, but she only wanted the father. Three of them learned a hard lesson on how to love so that love is a blessing and not a torment.

A woman with magical powers still can’t make a man she loves fall in love with her. Xiao Wei is a demon fox who was raised as a human girl by Xia Lao along with his granddaughter Xia Bing. But when Xiao Wei unleashes her demon spirit and accidentally kills Xia Lao, she begins her life on the run. Xia Bing is devastated by the loss of her grandfather and swears she will track down Xiao Wei and get revenge. Meanwhile, Xiao Wei is taken in by a general Wang Sheng and his wife Pei Rong. But soon, Pei Rong begins to suspect that Xiao Wei is a demon in disguise and requests help from Pang Yong, who has always had feelings for Pei Rong, to help her. As Pang Yong begins to investigate Xiao Wei, he meets up with Xia Bing, and the two try to expose Xiao Wei with each other’s help. Xiao Wei falls in love with Wang Sheng but is unable to use her strong powers to win her heart. Angry by this, Xiao Wei casts a “painted skin” spell on Pei Rong to make the world believe that she is a demon.

It is adapted from the 2008 film by the same title, which also is loosely based on a classic short story from “Strange Stories From a Chinese Studio” by Pu Song Ling.
