Choi Soo Jung has the role of the older brother of Bae Yong Joon in a drama that gives us the impact of having love for the first time. He plays the role of Sung Chan Hyuk who is gifted with artistic talent. Bae Yong Joon plays the character of Sung Chanwoo, who gives in his secret first love to his older brother and tries to become "a seed of the wheat" by sacrificing himself for the family’s happiness instead of going after his own ambition.

Joon-sang moves to a new high school in search for his biological father. Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk are close childhood friends, although Sang-hyuk wants to be more than a friend, Yu-jin sees him as a brother. On a trip together with other high school mates, Oh Chelin , Jin-suk and Yong-kuk , Yu-jin is saved after an accident by Joon-sang. They become close and she opens up his cold heart. However, circumstances and fate dictate that their love will never be. He abruptly disappears from their lives. Ten years later, the old High School buddies gather to celebrate Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk's soon-to-be wedding. Yu-jin, who was deeply in love with Joon-sang, still has a fire in her heart for him. But at the party, Oh Chelin's new boyfriend arrives, who appears the same as Joon-sang.

Dream High tells the story of six students at Kirin Art High School who work to achieve their dreams of becoming music stars in the Korean music industry. Go Hye Mi is a student who had majored in classical music but has to give up her dream by entering Kirin Art High School to pay off her father's debt. However, she needs to get two other students to also come to the school in order for her to enroll in the school conditionally. These two students are Song Sam Dong, who lives in the countryside, and Jin Guk, whom she accidentally meets while trying to escape from a loan shark. Yoon Baek Hee, formerly Hyemi's sidekick, becomes her rival in school because Hye Mi betrays her during an audition to enter the school.

This drama portrays the life of the 19th king of Goguryeo, Hwanwoong, who was sent from the heavens to make the world a better place. He falls in love with Saeoh and gives her the joojak necklace; however, Kajin becomes jealous since Saeoh has given birth to Hwanwoong's son. She takes the baby and throws him off a cliff. Saeoh, thinking that her son had died, is overcome with grief and turns into the black joojak to destroy the world. Hwanwoong is the only one who could stop her. Afterwards, Hwanwoong returns to the Heavens and prophecizes that 2000 years later, the true Joo Shin king will come to Earth. With the help of the four gods, he will rebuild Joo Shin.

Set towards the end Chosun Dyansty period, Madam Joh lives as a devoted wife, but secretly she resents the restrictions placed upon her by society. Madam Joh has held many discrete relationships with other men. Jo Won is an accomplished scholar and skilled in martial arts. His real passion though is seducing other women. Madam Joh is his first love. Since that time they have engaged in high stake games of seduction and love. They both hide their true feelings for each other. Madam Joh then sets Jo Won upon the innocent So Ok, who will become her husband's concubine.

Jin Young, a very open-minded and energetic woman, worked for the Seoul Hotel. Her ex-boyfriend Tae Joon resigned and had left for Vegas three years earlier due to an unfortunate incident w/ a guest. The owner of the hotel had always believed in Tae Joon even more so than his own son, Young Jae. When he died of a heart attack, his wife realized that Jin Young must go to Vegas to bring Tae Joon back so he could help run the hotel, which was falling into pieces. Their rival, Kim Book Man (Han Jin Hee), was determined to acquire the Seoul Hotel.

This story is about three people, Jae Ho, Shi Yung and Suk Ho. Jae Ho and his sister Jae Young are abandoned by their mother to escape poverty. Because of this, Jae Ho doesn't understand what love is. And so, he has a dream of becoming rich, thinking that there is no such thing as love, only money. He works hard his whole life while supporting himself and his sister through college. He works at a seafood wholesale market selling crabs to vendors. He lives with his aunt who has taken him and his sister in after their mother abandoned them.

With his big dreams and ambitions, he pretends to be rich while in school, in order to gain the attention of Hyun Su, who is from a very rich family. Thus, he tries to get her to like him so he can marry into her family and become rich. But during this process, he falls in love with his Psychology teacher, Shi Yung. He battles with his feelings and his ambitions, and ultimately picks love over money. Even though they go through hardship, he realizes that he couldn't survive without both, and so he gives up on Shi Yung for money and wishes her happiness.

The first couple could be defined as "True Love"

After living a beautiful romance on the campus Hyun Jun (Bae Yong Joon) and Se Young (Lee Young Ae) marry, but as the emergence of everyday difficulties the love between them begins to be shaken and finally when Young misunderstands the Hyun Jun's relationship with Hye Min ends up filing for divorce.

The second couple could be defined as: "comic love"

A love as comfortable and natural as the friendship between two people. Yong Gong is a schoolmate of Se Young besides being a doctor of a natural medicine clinic or as it is known oriental medicine. He is a widowed father and one day he goes to the pharmacy and meets Hye Won and is attracted to But it is at this point that we see the difficulties in harmonizing Eastern medicine (which is based on natural measures) and Western medicine (which is based on medicines).

And the third couple that we could define as: "The animated and naive love"

It is a love typical of the 90's generation where we see a playboy by nature IN Pyo (Jung Chan) who was accustomed to many adventures with girls.

One day he meets his niece's teacher Sae Byeol's kindergarten.
