Zhu Yun's university life just began, but it was disrupted by the arrival of the bad boy, Li Xun, who overturned her world. This is a seven-part anthology drama film, consisting of seven segments directed by seven directors released in China on September 30, 2019, to commemorate the establishment of 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

1. The Eve

The opening segment is about an engineer, Lin Zhiyuan, racing against time to perfect an automatic flag-raising mechanism before the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949.

2. Passing by

The second story sees a scientist, Gao Yuan, played by Zhang Yi, work on China's first atom bomb who had to bid farewell forever to his lover in the 1960s.

3. The Champion

The third story is about how a little Shanghai lad named Dong Dong helped his neighbors watch TV for the China women's national volleyball team's Olympic gold medal win in 1984.

4. Going Home

The fourth story is about a Chinese executive delegation and local policemen preparing for the return of Hong Kong from British rule to China in 1997. The 12-second silence between the British and Chinese anthems during the Hong Kong handover ceremony is also reflected in this part.

5. Hello Beijing

The fifth story is about a taxi driver who gives a ticket to the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics to a boy from the Sichuan earthquake zone though it was intended to be a birthday gift to his aloof son.

6. The Guiding Star

The sixth story is about a pair of homeless brothers who witness the landing of the capsule of the Shenzhou 11 manned spacecraft on November 18, 2016, a moment of national pride that touched them.

7. One for All

It follows the story of a top female fighter jet pilot Lü Xiaoran who helps her fellow pilots accomplish a smooth aerial performance at the Military Parade of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Second Sino-Japanese War in 2015.

This series follows Geng Geng, a slightly awkward but adorable first year high schooler who feels like she's not smart enough to be at the prestigious Zhen Hua High School. The first day she happens to meet her future deskmate, the brilliant Yu Huai, and although they bicker at first, they soon form a strong friendship. They all become good friends with their classmates and have a strong bond with their teacher, Zhang Ping. Geng Geng also attracts the attention of the school's resident rebel, Lu Xing He, who quickly falls in love with her and isn't shy about announcing his crush to the world.

There is a saying that goes like this, "The endless night is coming and chaos will descend the human world." Ning Que (Arthur Chen) is a soldier who travels to the capital with his servant Sang Sang (Song Yiren) to seek justice for the untimely deaths of his entire family. Through his determination and hard work, Ning Que earns a spot at a prestigious academy. He becomes the headmaster's treasured disciple, thus bringing him closer to clearing his family's name.

Sang Sang suffers from a strange illness. When Ning Que takes her to the doctor, they learn that Sang Sang is the bringer of the fearsome endless night which could spell the destruction of humanity. The revelation turns them into fugitives overnight. In order to protect Sang Sang, Ning Que escapes with her and starts an adventure into the unknown.

For generations the Zhao family has wielded power, until their mortal enemy TU'AN GU slaughters the entire clan, determined to wipe out their influence forever. But one Zhao baby survives hidden by CHENG YING the doctor who delivered him. When Tu'an Gu learns of the baby's escape he seizes every infant in the city, vowing to kill them all unless the Zhao baby is surrendered. As the tyrant's soldiers arrive at Cheng Ying's home the frantic doctor hides his wife with their own baby whilst surrendering the Zhao child as his own. But his family is discovered; his baby is presumed to be the Zhao heir and murdered along with his wife for harboring the infant. Now set on revenge Cheng Ying enrolls the Zhao orphan into the service of the Tu'an Gu household, plotting to use him as an instrument of vengeance when he comes of age.
