After getting caught in a sandstorm while on an archeological expedition, Yun Ye (Wang Tian Chen) is shocked to find that he has ended up in the Tang Dynasty. He makes use of his knowledge from the modern day to carve out a decent life for himself and slowly climbs the ranks as a court official. He becomes friends with the Crown Prince and also encounters an old love.

The debut feature of New Zealand-born Eddie Tse, the film centers on a happily married, child-expectant couple, played by Archie Kao and Anita Yuen, who experience an accident that leaves Kao a full-bodied cripple. After expressing his wish to be euthanized, Yuen must deal with the criminality of her actions and the legal consequences on her and her daughter’s lives. Soon after, Yuen is caught up in an investigation by law enforcement that utilizes mind-simulation technology to extract a confession from within her. But this unique element of the film fails to externalize her internal strife in any compelling way and merely adds another cheaply decorated set in addition to a flat storyline.

Foh (Jackie Chan) is a mechanic and part time racing car driver, playing the Good Samaritan for the police force by helping them to apprehend a dangerous criminal named Cougar (Thorsten Nickel) by means of a car chase. The criminal soon breaks free however and takes revenge on Foh by trashing his business and home and kidnapping his two younger sisters. The only way Foh can free them is by taking part in a race with Cougar a rematch after the criminal's earlier defeat.

With a trunkload of insanely useless gadgets and a contact who constantly tries to kill him, the young agent must locate the skull and find out just what is going on here

Durring the Tang Dynasty, a kung-fu tournament was held once every 18 years with the winner declared the leader of the land until the next competition. But a tournament with such high stakes brings out the best, and worst, in the various competitors and leaders.

In 1970s Hong Kong, rapacious landlords try to evict 72 tenants but sworn brothers Ha Kung and Shek Kin help the group of 72 defeat the landlord and landlady and coincidentally rescue Pinky from a planned forced marriage. When both sworn brothers fall for Pinky and propose to her, she flips a coin heads or tails, they both cheated during the toss but Ha wins her hand in marriage.

The sworn brothers become sworn enemies and Sheks hatred fuels intense rivalry against Ha in business dealings ranging from the manufacture of plastic flowers to the selling of stinky bean curd. Even after 40 years they continue to clash and in 2010 they are in keen competition selling electronics appliances in Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mongkok, the busiest street in the city and still home to the 72 tenants.

This film used the 1973 Shaw Brothers film, The House of 72 Tenants as the blueprint. However, this story is a new creation, of which only some roles identical. This is the first film to introduce the new 2010 Shaw opening theme with a shortened version of the original fanfare.

Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT YUEN (Ray Lui) mistakes con artist SA FU LOI (Gallen Lo) for his half brother CHEUK YAT MING, fortuitously elevating the swindler to one of the leading figures in the banking industry. SUM is attracted to FU too but thinking that they are true biological siblings, she decides to keep her love under wraps and stays with her long-term admirer KO TOK MAN (Joe Ma) instead. This comes as a huge blow to FU. He is not willing to lose his love, but neither can he reveal his real identity. Caught up in the dilemma between love and money, FU finally chooses the fortune road of no return.

The sequel to the highly successful Southern Shaolin, produced at a a bigger budget of 20 million renminbi. Featuring more intricately woven story with plenty of twists and excellent fights, though rather short at times. To avenge the death of her entire clan, which was massacred by Emperor Yongzheng, Lu Siniang returns to her hometown Haining to seek help from her father's student, Miracle Healer Cao Tai Xu, who had once served Emperor Yongzheng. Understanding that he has a soft spot for food, Lu Siniang, uses her culinary skills to lure out Cao Tai Xu, who, having no intention to side with either party, has been living in anonymity. Prior to his death, Abbot Xuanbei left a will requesting Northen Shaolin Temple's Xuanzhen to be Southern Shaolin Temple's abbot. Lay disciple Fang Shiyu was given the task of bringing Xuanzhen to Southern Shaolin. Along the way, Fang Shiyu meets Hongli, and inadvertently foils Lu Siniang's scheme.

Xuanzhen eventually arrives, with him his favourite disciple Yun Ming, at Southern Shaolin to take up the position as its abbot. Yun Ming is the head of Northen Shaolin's Arhat Hall. Yun Ming now covets the leadership of the 36th Chamber of Southern Shaolin. Actually, he's the leader of a pack of orphans left behind by Japanese bandits, and he comes with a hidden agenda of reclaiming treasures buried at Southern Shaolin Temple. And so, a fierce competition ensues between Yun Ming and Fang Shiyu for the chief of 36th Chamber.

With the assistance from Cao Tai Xu, Lu Siniang successfully sneaks into the palace and comes face to face with Emperor Yongzheng. Soon, news of Yongzheng's murder broke out and Hongli ascends the throne as Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong sends four Imperial Guards to arrest her. At the same time, he also issues a decree for Fang Shiyu to capture Lu Siniang...

The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra (Chinese: 齊天大聖孫悟空) is a 2002 Hong Kong/Taiwanese TV series based on the classic Chinese novel: Journey to the West. It is also a remake of the 90's TVB version.

This is the second Monkey King that is portrayed by Dicky Cheung, the other one being "Journey to the West I" (1996). It is also the first Monkey King series that is not called "Journey to the West".
