Sometimes, due to minor things, good and evil can switch sides and good people can become bad people.

Nagase Ren takes on the role of "I," a university student who moved to Tokyo and is living alone for the first time. I has no friends. I has no girlfriend. The lectures at the university were horribly boring, and I was always looking at Tokyo Tower on the way back from his laborious job. While being attracted to the ruthless, dignified and intelligent "Senior," played by Ikeda Elaiza, whom he meets in the "Hide and Seek Circle" that he secretly falls in love with. Meanwhile, I meets a man called "Black Suit," played by Emoto Tasuku, who is an extremely charismatic and mysterious person. Little did "I" know that the two people he met would bring excitement to his mundane, humdrum existence.

Follows an aspiring manga artist named Keigo Yamashiro who dreams of making it big. Yamashiro is extremely talented, but what holds him back is his inability to create any villains due to his overtly cheerful personality. Due to this he is currently stuck in the position of being an assistant to a manga writer.

One day Yamashiro receives an assignment from his boss to visit a home and sketch the family living there. When Yamashiro arrives at the house he finds all four family members dead, and a mysterious man. Startled by the incident, the unknown man makes his escape and Yamashiro calls the cops.

When questioned by police Yamashiro lies and says that he did not see the murderer, he does however use the murderer as a villain for his own manga titled “34”. The manga series becomes a surprise hit and Yamashiro quickly becomes a top star in the manga world. However, murders extremely similar to incidents in the “34” manga begin to happen in real life, and Yamashiro is soon confronted by the mysterious murderer.

In order to end the Sengoku period and determine a ruler for the new era, on October 21, 1600 the Battle of Sekigahara takes place between the Western Army, led by Mitsunari Ishida, and the Eastern Army, led by Ieyasu Tokugawa, who attempts to keep a hold of the nation within his greedy grasp. Even though the Western Army are believed to outnumber the Eastern Army, they take losses on the battlefield. A hidden truth exists. Hatsume was sent to spy on Mitsunari Ishida, but falls in love with him.

Nomi plays a samurai named Kanjuro who decided to give up his sword after a certain incident. He wanders aimlessly with his daughter (Kumada Sea), but because he abandoned his position as a samurai without permission, a price is put on his head and they're eventually captured. However, a notoriously eccentric feudal lord offers Kanjuro a unique opportunity to earn a full acquittal.
