The games they face this round will be of greater difficulty than the ones that came before.

Maki Maki, Sebuki Suzume, Beppu Tsukasa and Iemori Yutaka happen to meet and form a quartet. They even begin to live together in Karuizawa during the winter, but there is a big hidden secret.

Maki, who has a negative personality and barely gives her opinions, plays the lead violin in the quartet. She has family and only goes to Karuizawa on the weekends for performances. Suzume, who is unemployed, plays the cello, while Yutaka plays the viola in the quartet. The leader of the quartet and the one providing his grandfather's villa as a base for them is Tsukasa. He plays the second violin in the quartet and comes from a musical family. A man of many secrets, he also works at a donut company.

Otomichi Takako (Koike Eiko) is a strong-minded detective. She joins in the investigation of the murder of a fortune teller’s entire family as a member of its mobile investigation unit. Although Takako is a female, she is the type of person who likes to win and will rush to a crime scene immediately when there is a case so that she will be assigned to the mobile investigation unit which conducts the initial investigations. But Hoshino Hideo (Abe Tsuyoshi), the detective partnered with her, is known for being a skirt chaser. When Takako curtly rejects his advances, she is abruptly treated indifferently. He also reports an important clue that she had found as his own achievement. This makes Takako shake with anger. To make matters worse, Hoshino orders Takako to act alone in a violation of rules. She has no choice but to do legwork on her own. As chance would have it, Takako locates the new address of men who are believed to be a gang of criminals and heads to the house. During the investigation, Nakata Kaeko (Nishida Naomi), a housewife who was a victim in a previous bag-snatching case, appears. Takako knows her. Kaeko is going through a hard time. She has to care for her elderly father, but is also the sole breadwinner instead of her unemployed husband, juggling two jobs as a nurse and part-time employee at a bar while raising two children. Unable to leave Kaeko alone after Kaeko talks about the emptiness she feels every day, Takako follows her. But she gets drugged with sleeping pills and kidnapped by the hidden criminal … … Meanwhile, former fellow detective Takizawa Tamotsu (Takahashi Katsumi) is unable to contact Takako and worries about her. He presses Hoshino for an answer but Hoshino does not confess the truth. He finally pins down an apartment from a small lead and breaks in with Hirajima Maki (Shinoda Mariko). However, they discover the body of the criminal who has died in cold blood down there. Takizawa tries to find new clues, but Takako’s own life is in danger with each passing moment

Based on the popular Japanese comic of the same name about an average girl's high flying romance and friendship with F4 or four handsome heirs. High school sweethearts Tsukasa and Tsukusi are finally getting married. Tsukasa gives his fiancee a precious family heirloom ― but only to see a robber disappear with it. Tsukasa and three other F4 friends reunite for the globetrotting search.

Hoshino Asuka is dumped by her boyfriend, who is a colleague at the same workplace, on her 25th birthday. To make matters worse, her apartment catches fire and she can't return to live in it. Asuka finds herself wishing for happiness and the elephant god Ganesha suddenly appears. He had lived with Nogami Kohei in that apartment several years ago. With the appearance of Ganesha, Asuka learns what true happiness is.

Ryujo Hoshiko comes to detective Kindaichi Kosuke’s office with a request. She would like him to investigate an attempt to poison her father, Baron Ryujo Kiyohisa. Hoshiko says this may have something to do with the issues of succession such as the peerage and fortune. Accepting the request, Kindaichi and Hoshiko are driven by a servant of the Ryujo family to the mansion in Nagano Prefecture. On the way, the car comes to an abrupt halt on a country road. They have stumbled across the dead body of Kazuma, the husband of eldest daughter Ryujo Hanayo. After assisting with the investigation, Kindaichi and Hoshiko finally reach the mansion. The police detective Hibino is questioning a grieving Hanayo, her mother Shimako, second daughter Yukiya and her husband Hoshino Natsuhiko. Then another man arrives. It is Akechi Kogoro. He received a warning from the 20-Face Phantom who is targeting the golden statute of a Buddhist deity which is in the Ryujo’s possession. Kindaichi and Akechi end up face to face again. Kindaichi is conscious of it, but Akechi acts relaxed. From the next day, Kindaichi searches for clues in the murder. On the other hand, Akechi pursues the whereabouts of the Phantom. Kazuma, who had been the possible successor of the peerage, had no reason to commit suicide. Everyone in the family believe he was murdered. In a search after that, it is discovered from a storehouse within the mansion that Kazuma vomited blood. There is a high chance it is the same poison administered to the baron. Meanwhile, Shimako has been hastening a proposal of marriage for her third daughter Hoshiko. The other party is Takuzo of Hishikawa Construction. Hoshiko makes an agonising decision in order to protect her family. And then, another incident occurs in the Ryujo family.

Kuraki Naotake is the top ace of the Public Safety Department. Osugi Ryota is a top-notch straight-talking detective from the MPD. Akeboshi Misa is an investigator from the Public Safety Department. Together, the 3 of them investigate on the bombing incident in Shinjuku. Naotake had specifically requested to be on the investigation team as he had lost his wife in the said incident.

The drama is a love story between a tomboyish woman pretending to be a man and a young food empire mogul.An Shao Cheng is a second generation restaurateur who falls in love with an ordinary looking but extraordinarily skilled chef named Xin Duo Duo.

Rensuke Hazuki (Takuya Kimura) is the young president of highly successful furniture company Regolith. Looking to expand his expand overseas, Rensuke plans to open a store in Shanghai, China. News of the store opening in Shanghai causes protests from factory workers who fear the store may cost them their jobs. Rensuke then travels to Shanghai with old high school friend Maemi (Ryoko Shinohara) - whom Rensuke hopes will design the interior of his flagship Shanghai store. Rensuke and Maemi then meet a representative for the local factory workers named Shumei (Chiling Lin). The meeting then changes the lives of Rensuke, Maemi, and Shumei ...

Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Night Tenjo", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her.

This second season of Hana Yori Dango picks up right after Domyoji leaves for New York. After confessing to Domyoji, Makino has not spoken to him for a year. Rui and the other members of F4 try and help Makino meet Domyoji again by going to New York for the christmas holidays. Though F4 and Makino meet Domyoji again, he has become a completely different person, and so they leave for Japan.

Some time later, Domyoji's mother annouces that they will be returning to Japan. There, they hold a giant super-rich and classy birthday party for Domyoji and announce something very important. Domyoji, like in the first season, is engaged to a rich girl and heir. The only difference is that they are to be wed soon. What will Makino do?

On the side, Rui begins to fall in love with Makino... will this become a love... square?

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground.

If a student gets on the F4's bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.

Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a "tough weed". She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa. The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.
