Three Hong Kong girls, who are in different situations and stages of life, have decided to leave Hong Kong and try to put down roots on the island of Taiwan due to their own reasons and expectations. However, there is often an unpredictable distance between imagination and reality. Faye (27), a Hong Kong girl, had planned to travel in Taipei and temporarily live in the family of her good sister Jia Jia, who married to Taiwan. Hau is a hard-working fast food restaurant staff. Despite his hectic schedule, he plays basketball on a public basketball court early in the morning. He has not taken part in any matches ever since he was bullied back in high school. One day, a group of young men forcefully take over the public basketball court. Angered by their behaviour, Bo randomly picks Hau, Leung and Tak to form a team to play against the young men. At first, the group of strangers have absolutely no chemistry at all. However, with their unique styles and Bo’s coaching, they manage to defeat their opponents. While they get a sense of achievement on the basketball court, the trio each have their own problems and feel lost when they are off court. Basketball is their only way to escape reality.

Due to a scandal, celebrity tutor Pak gets kicked out of the tutorial school he founded. Meanwhile, his wife wants to divorce him. When looking back at his life, Pak thinks of a man he does not want to face – his father Ho. Ho is a legendary figure in the education industry as well as the founder of Nature Primary School. Located in a rural area, the school encouraged its pupils, including Pak, to connect with nature and to live a simple life. Pak grew up with nature but was never proud of his father. When his father told him that his mother was a famous actress, Pak went to the city to look for her. However, it turned out to be a lie and Pak decided to leave his rural life. Later, he went on a totally different path from his father’s and founded a tutorial school with his best friend Tong.

This is a story of rivalry and friendship between two young swimmers; a tale of natural talent versus hard work. Talented swimmer Chung is a transfer student. In his new class, 4C, he meets a swim relay team led by Wing. Despite being proficient in all four styles, Wing is frustrated at his team’s losing streak to Class 4A. At his first swimming gala, Chung plans to show off his skills. Unfortunately, he shows his imperfect starting dives and lack of stamina instead. The mistake he makes in his starting dive even causes his team to lose. After the defeat, he decides to quit the relay match. However, after observing Chung’s freestyle performance, Wing starts teaching him techniques in starting dives and racing. Wing aims to beat Class 4A with the same team members, including Chung.
