Rewind to Wai Tak Shun’s childhood days and Tak Shun is devastated due to his father Wai King Yan’s death. He then has mood swings and loses interest in everything. He even completely forgets about his father. For Tak Shun’s sake, his mother Tse Mei Sheung and uncle Tse Tim Sing never mention King Yan’s death.

Fate brings Tak Shun and Fung Cho Yee, who is the daughter of some second-hand store owner, together. She notices Tak Shun seems to be able to detect the resonances of old things. Tak Shun and Cho Yee help many people deal with their worries as Tak Shun reveals hidden tales through bizarre objects in the store.

Tak Shun is led by some old object to eventually uncover the truth behind his father’s death, and he has to again endure the pain of yesteryear.

Barrister Koo Ling-shan is a successful career woman, but she just cannot find the right guy. She does not get along with her younger sister Ching-tung, who is a chauffeur by profession. The drama is told in three separate folklore stories about love, lust, vanity, greed and selfishness.

{Changing Pins} - Male and female fraternal twins fall in love with different men with the same appearance. The older male twin has an homosexual affair with a Prince of the Liao Kingdom, while the female twin falls in love with a poor scholar.

{Judge Lu} - A poor scholar has an affair with a courtesan that resembles his wife.

{Chasing Fish} - A scholar becomes the object of affection to a fish spirit and human girl with the face.

Leung Hau-Chi (Ada Choi) is a typical career woman in her 30s - fussy, arrogant and easily irritated by the sight of beautiful young women. To complicate matters, Hin happens to be in love with both Chi and her superwoman alter ego. Despite having superpowers, Chi has no idea how to find her true love.
