Chen Xian Qi, the editor of a small fashion magazine, has misplaced a diamond the magazine had borrowed. She thought the intern Xiao Jia You had picked it up but was mistaken. When Xian Qi tracks down Jia You, she fails to recoup the diamond, loses her job and faces an onerous debt for its replacement.
