Asian Drama

In the early years of the Republic of China, two generations of the Murong family experienced the setting up of factories and businesses, witnessed its development and painful destruction during the Sino-Japanese war before focusing on the rebuilding and expansion of the industry.

Adapted from the novel "Ban Yuan Jun" (半缘君) by Dong Xing Mei (董兴梅).

The play tells the story of progressive youths who, in order to resist the imperialist plundering of China's railroad sovereignty, enthusiastically joined the Sichuan Comrades' Association for the Protection of Roads and resolutely fought against the dark forces.
