It follows secretary Amelia Wong (Ali), who restarts her life after ending a long relationship. She returns to work, meets new people, and develops a relationship with her boss Matt (Moses). Much like many of the people in her life, Amelia takes initiative to search for a journey—a journey of love, of finding oneself, and of finding one’s dreams.

The drama is told in three separate folklore stories about love, lust, vanity, greed and selfishness.

{Changing Pins} - Male and female fraternal twins fall in love with different men with the same appearance. The older male twin has an homosexual affair with a Prince of the Liao Kingdom, while the female twin falls in love with a poor scholar.

{Judge Lu} - A poor scholar has an affair with a courtesan that resembles his wife.

{Chasing Fish} - A scholar becomes the object of affection to a fish spirit and human girl with the face.

Senior television director HA YAT CHEUNG (Ruco Chan) is preparing to shoot an all new reality TV show, documenting HK youth CHEUNG CHUN KIT's (Hero Yuen) experience of going from city life back to village life in Mainland. Because the lack of staff at the TV station, CHEUNG hired HUI MEI FUNG (Priscilla Wong) to be the assistant director and asked good friend LEUNG CHUN SHUN (Evergreen Mak) to help with the filming. During the filming process, the crew witnessed how the HK youth master representative overcomes cultural differences in the village and changes in his personal character. The blind spots in their lives slowly unfolds as the reality show goes on. Just like the subjective and stubborn CHEUNG re-examined the love and hate between his adopted mother LAU CHUI WAN (Louise Lee) and biological mother HA SIU LAN (Rebecca Chan). The hardworking and good faith MEI FUN works nonstop just because of her dignity and to recover her lost paternal love. The 'big man' CHUN SHUN and his family went through mass destruction… how will this clever director bring everyone out of their distressed lives?

Ko Lap Yan, the Senior Psychiatrist of Yan Wo Hospital, is a competent and kind-hearted doctor who specializes in severe schizophrenia and even minor mental illnesses. Yan cures his patients not only by medication but also by psychological analysis. He diagnoses the cause with reference to the symptoms. The plot is interesting, intricate and extraordinary.

The psychiatrist Lin Chi Sum and the nurse Li Ying Chun are both good friends of Yan. Sum is keen on helping people. He has cured a patient suffering from a binge eating disorder Suen Ka Pik. They have overcome a lot of difficulties and become a couple. Yan is a divorced single father with a daughter.

After the failed marriage, he did not long for love affairs until he chanced upon an Inspector of the Serious Crime Unit, Mok Man Yee. They have gradually developed their relationship through a business contact. However, in order to avoid the recurrence of genetic and mental diseases, Yee detaches her feeling from Yan.

After the tears, can she compose herself again? Yip Heung Yeung (Annie Man) is in love with a martial arts instructor how is also Fung's trainer. After her boyfriend dies, Fung becomes her counsellor, but can this master and disciple overcome their reservations and be together?
