Leung Hau-Chi (Ada Choi) is a typical career woman in her 30s - fussy, arrogant and easily irritated by the sight of beautiful young women. Desperate for love and for something exciting to happen in her life, Chi is miserable and begins to despair when she abruptly transforms into a superwoman of incredible charm and strength.

With each new amazing power, Chi uses her extraordinary powers to fight for justice, help the weak, and go on remarkable adventures. On the way, she meets three kindhearted men: Yeung Ho-Yin (Kenny Wong), a brave but traditional policeman; Tsu Wing-Fai (Raymond Cho), a good-natured self-made businessman; and Kan Ming-Hin (Moses Chan), a genius plastic surgeon. To complicate matters, Hin happens to be in love with both Chi and her superwoman alter ego. Despite having superpowers, Chi has no idea how to find her true love.

During the Qing dynasty in Beijing, a powerful empress took over the throne.The story focus on four different families. After her boyfriend dies, Fung becomes her counsellor, but can this master and disciple overcome their reservations and be together?

Ling Wan is a beautiful young girl who pretends to have an ugly face to prevent marrying. Her friend Chor Chor is not pretty looking either, therefore they became best friends. One day, Ling Wan accidentally saves the Emperor in disguise. He sees Ling Wan's real face and immediately falls in love with her. When he returns to the Imperial Palace, he could not get her off his mind so he sends someone to bring Ling Wan into the palace. Once Chor Chor realizes that Ling Wan's ugly face was fake and that the Emperor was bringing her into the palace she immediately goes find the "face changer", Siu To who she met beforehand in the village. Chor Chor makes Ling Wan unconscious and they switch faces. With now Ling Wan's face, Chor Chor takes her place and goes into the palace. The confused Ling Wan decides to travel to the palace alone to tell the Emperor the truth.
