Naamrin, a bratty and hi-so girl is about to marry her fiance, Popetorn, whom she grew up with because her mother, Thara raised him since he was a little boy after his father had passed away. However, after trying on her wedding dress, Naamrin is challenged to a road race that escalates to a road rage, resulting in the death of both drivers. Yeeo is a police officer that happened to be bicycling pass the scene and hears the call on his police radio. He gets to the scene and watches paramedics pull out Naamrin's road rival, whose car had plunged into the nearby lake. He then meets the spirit, Naamrin, who doesn't know that she's dead. Yeeo picks up a necklace that parted from her during the wreck and tucks it into his pocket. Since then, Naamrin's spirit becomes attached to Yeeo and he is the only one that can see her, apart from Yeeo's blind grandmother who can sense her presence but is unaware that Naamrin is a spirit. Thus, Yeeo and his grandmother are the only humans that can speak to Naamrin. Since her fate brought them together, Naamrin believes that Yeeo is the only one that can help her.

The forest owner passes away and Paya finds out that Mekkala's father is the forest owner's half brother so he writes a letter to get him to come to see the forest. Mekkala is in need of money after her career fails and her endless spending so she decides to go to the forest and sell it to Paya's worst enemy, the man who wants to chop the forest down.

On the way to the forest, Prim is Mekkala's biggest fan and they ride the train together. Mekkala ends up giving Prim a makeover and gives her clothes and Mekkala wears Prim's. Paya is confused seeing them thinking one of them is the other but they settle that immediately. However, they get into an accident and Prim dies. Everyone assumes the person who died was Mekkala due to the fancy clothing and Paya decides to keep quiet and when the real Mekkala loses her memory, he tells her that she's Prim. However, even with memory loss, she is still a brat at heart, and eventually, the people there cause Mekkala to fix herself and she becomes a selfless person.

The story of three childhood friends Ben, Paul and Frank who cruise the streets of Hong Kong circa 1967 and are members of a gang. Defiant and proud, they're also fiercely loyal to their families and each other, and will engage in street fist fights and other assorted lengths to prove it. When Ben decides to marry girlfriend Jane, Frank and Paul secure a loan to pay for the wedding banquet, but Frank is attacked by the local gang. Bloodied, he still arrives at the banquet with the money, but Ben isn't satisfied with letting things go. He goes after the responsible parties, and accidentally leaves one dead.

With the law after him, Ben is forced to flee to Saigon with his two friends. The three are supposed to deliver some illegal goods to a Mr. Leong, but things quickly go awry. The goods are lost in a terrorist bombing, and protesters and North Vietnamese sympathizers are shot without pity. Luckily, they have a contact: Eurasian mercenary Luke who helps the boys square things with Mr. Leong, but they're not satisfied with just completing their deal. Conflicts concerning money, love and friendship reveal the true personalities of the three.
