That year, everyone bravely chased their dreams and sang in talent shows. Music teacher Yu Jing who has gone to Hualien to mend a broken heart meets a frustrated teacher and a repressed youth and their stories become intertwined through song. As feelings of romance ignite, who will Yu Jing choose?

Yu Jing is trying to heal from the emotional scars of being cheated on by her fiance. She encounters Xing Zhi Yuan, a teacher who has been transferred to a rural school. Xing Zhi Yuan intends to use talent shows as a springboard for his educational career. By chance, he discovers Li Dong Shuo, a student with a natural talent for singing. Li Dong Shuo and his friends come to form the band "July Boys" with Yu Jing invited to coach them in time for the annual singing contest. Both Xing Zhi Yuan and Li Dong Shuo become attracted to the warm and kind Yu Jing. Faced with two completely different emotions, Yu Jing's heart begins to waver.

The variety show revolves around three key words: sea, bar, and wish. The guests who visit will be able to get out of their daily lives and spend a special day with the cool ocean, music, and delicious food. Actress Lee Ji Ah will be heading the cast as the main chef of the seaside bar, while Lee Dong Wook will serve as the main bartender. Actress Kim Go Eun will demonstrate her love for the ocean as a lifeguard and server, while Yoon Jong Shin and Suhyun will handle the music. Last but not least, SHINee's leader Onew will handle desserts as the baker of the team.

"The Coming One 5" is an original music variety show. Ma Dian, Wu Tiao Ren, G.E.M. Deng Zi Qi, Wang Yuan, and Li Xue Qin form the "Fengyun Teachers Group", and Pu Shu is the "Tomorrow Honorary Professor".

The program is divided into "Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western" regions for musical stage display, and conveys the true appearance of the current local music by showing the original ecological music style of the "wild wild long" in each region.

Tightly clutching his Gibson guitar, Mafuyu Satou steps out of his dark apartment to begin another day of his high school life. While taking a nap in a quiet spot on the gymnasium staircase, he has a chance encounter with fellow student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who berates him for letting his guitar's strings rust and break. Noticing Uenoyama's knowledge of the instrument, Satou pleads for him to fix it and to teach him how to play. Uenoyama eventually agrees and invites him to sit in on a jam session with his two band mates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.

Satou's voice is strikingly beautiful, filling Uenoyama with the determination to make Satou the lead singer of the band. Though reticent at first, Satou takes the offer after an emotional meeting with an old friend. With the support of his new friends, Satou must not only learn how to play guitar, but also come to terms with the mysterious circumstances that led him to be its owner.

When bento shop owner Hikaru Oshiro learns that a group of high school students have no place to practice music he takes it upon himself to build a studio beneath his store. The only stipulations he placed upon the students were that they be respectful to others, do well in school, and empathetic towards others.

There, she witnesses top star Hoo Joon's violent behavior and she also vomits on him by accident. This leads to Geun Young losing her job. Believing that Hoo Joon was behind her firing, she decides to get him back by demonstrating in front of Hoo Joons management office.

Slowly, she begins to receive media coverage on her demonstration and soon becomes famous as an anti-fan. A PD approaches Geun Young about participating in a reality TV show which revolves around the idea of a top star and their anti-fan living together. Being unemployed, she decides to accept the offer. Meanwhile, Hoo Joon is offered the same reality TV show and accepts to try to improve his image.

Hoo Joon and Geun Young try to give each other a hard time on the reality show, but soon start to fall for one another.
