To Lei, it’s a joke how incredible the stupidity of humankind is, as shown by the huge number of humans crazy about cats. However, there is one human to whom Lei feels indebted to - Jiang Ke Qi. To pay her back for saving his life when he was young, Lei has set up a company to secretly provide her with a stable job and high income. When he feels the time is right for her to succeed him as the boss, he realizes that he has fallen victim to the human love that he once so strongly despised.

Adapted from the 1971 homonym novella, written by Taiwanese author Chiung Yao 瓊瑤.

"April Rhapsody" is a biographical sketch of the love story of renowned Chinese poet Xu Zhi Mo. The plot follows Xu in his quest for a soulmate, a quest that led him to relationships with three remarkable women. These three women each typified a part of the culture in China during the early 20th century, and together, they defined the emotional world of the young avant-garde poet.

The story centers around four girls, who were all born in 1965 and lived on the same corner street, on how they adapt to the culture changes brought on by Taiwan's economic boom of the 1980's.

After basic training, rookies signed up for special forces.

During the 36 days of basic training, Second Lieutenant Sun An Bang is going to transform a group of rookies from oddball civilians to disciplined soldiers.

The setting is in Taiwan's 1950s to 1970s (and according to the screen writer, it would end on year 2000). Its story revolves around a certain village where you can find love and friendship. Each family in the village has a story to tell.

Xiao Zhuang always thought he was a good-looking fella because that was what his parents always told him. However, after starting university, he was in for a surprise when the girl he liked turned him down. His friends finally told him the truth, which was that he wasn't good-looking at all.
