In a time when the main source of energy was still coal, there was a man who saw the future in oil. Young Tetsuzo Kunioka who hails from Moji, Kitakyushu, rides out into the oil business, but is faced with numerous challenges and competitors who stand in his way, including domestic suppliers and major western oil companies, or the "oil majors". But Tetsuzo never gave up, however despairing the situation was. He always found a way and paved a new road with his unconventional ideas, eccentric actions, and most of all, his caring heart toward his own men. That style of Tetsuzo's was not something that would ever change, even when the tides were against him in a war-lost Japan.

The “Seven Cutter” is a legend around high schools across the country. His name is Han Su and he remains unbeaten throughout the school system. Whoever tries to fight him not only faces the indignity of losing but is left with Han-Su’s trademark 7cm scar to remind them of their loss. When innocent new kid Han Su (An Jae Mo - Haan, Birdcage Inn) starts at Seong Ji High School, he is instantly mistaken for the “Seven Cutter”. He is blissfully unaware of why the other students are giving him such an icy reception, and so when the toughest boy at Seong Ji challenges Han Su to a fight, he has no choice but defend himself. And when he accidentally wins, things start getting really confusing for Han Su. Also starring comedian Jung June Ha and former Baby VOX member Yoon Eun Hye (Goong) in her big screen debut.

After an epic 40-minute one-take zombie-movie we get to watch behind-the-scenes of how it came to be: a comedy of errors with overly dedicated actresses, clumsy crew, arrogant directors and a lots of trials and tribulations.

Tony Leung Ka Fai and Danny Lee star in the 1990 police thriller Blue Lightning. When model Jody and her boyfriend are brutally murdered in their apartment, the case falls into the hands of Superintendent Chung (Tony Leung) and rookie cop Tit Nam (Cheng Wai Lun). With the help of alcoholic ex-husband Lam (Danny Lee), a former cop who left the force after divorce, they locate Jody's ex-roommate Ellen (Olivia Cheng), but she refuses to cooperate. Lam and Chung are also having trouble cooperating with each other as they have very different investigating methods and frequently derail into argument. As they fumble for answers, the murderer moves in to silence Ellen.

Up-tight salaryman Asakura (Shinichi Tsutsumi) goes to the doctor about his severe tension headaches, but gets car-jacked by bank robbers, who order him to pursue one of the gang that has betrayed them. Unfortunately, Asakura never breaks the rules, won't drive over the speed limit, or run a red light, even if threatened. The frustrated gang stops at a café to make plans, but word is out about their "successful" robbery, and "karmic fate" begins to unfold.

A love story between a detective and former pickpocket, as they meet 10 years later.

Harada is a successful scenario writer, and his best buddy has just announced an intention to propose to Harada's ex-wife. Recovering from the shock, Harada indulges in melancholy, mainly on his failure as a husband and father, and goes to a 'Rakugo' (sit-down comedy) show, where a friendly man in the audience invites him home. Harada is puzzled at the strong resemblance of this man and his wife to his own parents, who were killed nearly 30 years ago when he was twelve. He visits the couple repeatedly, and greatly enjoys the happy atmosphere there, which was much like his childhood, and such a contrast to his current existence, which is lonely and tortured. But he is no longer alone. The same night his buddy confessed, Harada was visited by Kei, a beautiful woman from the third floor, who is also the only other occupant of their apartment building.
