Toh is a stubborn young man. As the only son of Piti, a former high-ranking government officer, he is a person of status and capital wealth. Together with Singha, the best friend he grew up with, he creates a start-up, raising funds at the Seed Fund level. The amount of money needed from investors is nearly 10 million Baht. A special drama commemorating the 80th anniversary of NHK's broadcasting service. The story is about two sisters who meet each other again after living separated in Japan and Brazil for 70 years. In 1934, Haru and her family emigrated from Hokkaido to Brazil. Haru's younger sister Natsu, however, was left behind in Japan because of an eye disease. 70 years later, Haru visits Japan and locates the whereabouts of Natsu but the younger sister, who thinks she was abandoned by the family, rejects Haru. After a while, the two find out that both wrote numbers of letters to the other though the letters have been left undelivered to the addressees. Through the discovered letters, the sisters learn each other's life; Haru lived in Brazil as a member of an immigrant-laborer family surviving various difficulties while Natsu lived in Japan through the Second World War and postwar economic growth depending on herself and managing a business. The drama portrays the separated sisters' lives full of ups and downs as well as their family ties, asking the meaning of "homeland" and "family."

Everyone believes she is quite a catch but she is independent in search for love. The unfortunate Jong-nam lives with Ki-woong's paternal aunt. Jong-nam had been in love with her son until he died in a tragic accident which bonded the two women. Jong-nam and Suk-hyun bump into each other one day and find they are mysteriously drawn to each other.

National Theatre celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2006. In January 2007, the theatre begins its 51st year with “Asakusa Fukumaru Inn,” a new drama where every episode is self-inclusive, set in an old-line inn in Asakusa. Fukumaru Daikichi, the owner of Fukumaru Inn is played by Nishida Toshiyuki. The inn has been in business for over 60 years, and Daikichi is its third owner. Known as “nosy Dai-san” from people of Asakusa, Daikichi pries into the affairs of others and ends up making matters worse. As social conditions change, his inn business faces difficult situation, but he cannot help but stop being nosy. In each episode, various guest actors/actresses appear to take the key role sometimes as a guest to the inn or as a someone Daikichi meets in the neighborhood area. Exchanges between guest actors/actresses and Dakichi will definitely make the viewers cry and laugh in all episodes.

This is a love story between 23 year old grad student Asahina Motoko and her 64 year old professor Sakaki Ikuo.
