Go Bok Su has had a difficult childhood and served time in prison for stealing. Jeon Kyung, a moody tomboy and a daughter of a rich family, plays the keyboard as a member of an unknown indie rock band. The vocalist of Kyung's band is diagnosed with a brain injury from an accident, and while the band members are trying to earn money for the surgery, Bok Su steals Kyung's wallet. Bok Su decides that their meeting was fate, leaves his long-time girlfriend Mi Rae, and follows Kyung around trying to win her heart. One day Bok Su finds out he has a terminal illness and doesn’t have much time left, and his life begins to change.

One year has passed since Take Seiji became a full time employee at Oetsu Construction. The Take family, having moved into their new home, have been living there peacefully until Sumiko's brother shows up one day while she is out, and Seiji and Ayako discovers that their parents had in fact married despite objection from Sumiko's family.

Also, Manami, in the midst of her internship in Okayama, is coming back to Tokyo for a week, and so Seiji and Manami are finally able to reunite. Manami's father had passed away when she was young and her mother, Sayuri, had remarried since then. Growing up in such an environment, Manami had fostered a complicated relationship with her mother, and because of that the prospect of marriage wasn`t appealing to her.

Seiji, having just started his new life, hadn't really given much thought to marriage, but after meeting Manami's mother, he is shocked to learn how Manami feels about her mother and towards marriage. But one day, on the way home from drinking with the Oetsu Construction members, Seiji and Manami come across an abandoned kitty. After promising to take care of the kitty only until a new owner is found, Manami is able to take care of the kitty at her mother`s home. But, while Manami is out at work, the kitty becomes ill and Manami's mother not knowing what to do contacts Manami and so Seiji decides to take care of the kitty in the meantime. And, the very presence of the kitty becomes a turning point for both the Take family and Manami`s relationship with her mother...

Zhuangzhi Ren (Shi Jian) is a handsome Hong Kong film industry tycoon, who has just returned from traveling abroad, after he personally supervised the production of a new movie. Sexy actress Ha Lamlam (Carol 'Do Do' Cheng), new martial arts film actor Muscle (Ka Wah Lam), entertainment reporter Monatan (Shui-Fan Fung), female director Ni Jinhua (Dengbi Yun) and Red White Hibiscus (Louise Lee) learned and of this, and hoping to find a benefit in Zhuangzhi Ren, they have requested to meet. On Zhuangzhi's attorney's arrangements, everyone is invited to the villa resort located on the outlying islands. The private detective's investigation into the landlady for payment of wages to Zhuangzhi Ren, also comes up. Monatan suspects Zhuangzhi Ren of seducing his wife, so he brings along a variety of special instruments of death, ready to kill Zhuangzhi Ren in the villa, to clear off his wife's hate. Unexpectedly, after everyone reaches the villa, they find a large house which from time to time is heard bursts of strange sounds, but even more bizarre is the sudden disappearance of the village, which with everyone on the island already divided into factions, grow more suspicious, and panic.

A mysterious man from the village is searching for her so that she may help him and his comrades when the time comes. Meanwhile strange creatures start appearing in the city, possessing humans and causing trouble.
