The story revolves around three 40-year-old women: lawyer Du Xiaoling, returned overseas Chinese Song Qing, and supermarket cashier Ye Hong. After Ye Hong's divorce from the gambler's ex-husband, he took his son to rent the house of the equally divorced taxi driver He Jing. One day, He Jing's ex-wife and Ye Hong's ex-husband suddenly appeared at the same time, and the four lived together in embarrassment. Detective Mok (Dayo Wong) is a very smart detective with a high IQ, but he has asthma and sometimes appears slow and weak. When solving one of his cases, Mok meets insurance agent Wai (Ada Choi). She mistakes him for a pervert who has been photographing women in public toilets, leading to some hilarious misunderstandings. Soon after that case is solved, Wai is accused of shoplifting and then becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her boss. Mok proves her innocence in both cases, but at first she still can't stand him. Later they become friends, but there is still conflict between them because Mok is always broke, so when they go out Wai has to pay. Wai's job is not easy and Romeo (Marco Ngai), the leader of a rival insurance team, makes it a lot harder. Romeo leads the men's team and Wai leads the women's team, and the competition between the men and women never ends. There is constant gossip in the office, which is often overheard by the person being gossiped about. Wai and Mok meet Jim (Michael Tong), a fitness trainer, who is involved in several cases. Jim falls in love with Wai, but Wai likes Mok instead. There are a lot of funny scenes and the cases are always different.

Mebius is a rookie Ultra Warrior and has a lot to live up to. He is chosen as the new protector of the earth. This series is set in the same universe as the original timeline; when Mebius first appears to fight a monster, it is mentioned that this is the first time an Ultraman has appeared on earth in 25 years. Under the guise of Mirai Hibino, Mebius joins CREW GUYS, the monster attack force of this series. At the start of the first episode, all of the original team members of GUYS, save Ryu, are killed off in their first monster battle. Mirai gathers a group of people he meets in an evacuation to join the new GUYS because he feels they have the right heart to be on GUYS.

In the Hayate Way's Ninja Academy, three pupils are not exactly fitting in.
