Asami Sae is a housewife, married to a doctor, and has two daughters. Her family lives within the exclusive SKY CASTLE neighborhood. She works hard to get her eldest daughter into the most prestigious high school, and she will do anything to accomplish that goal. Her neighbors in SKY CASTLE include Minamisawa Izumi, Nikaido Kyoko, and Natsume Misaki. All of these women try to send their children to the same elite high school. They hear that the son of their neighbor, Saejima Kaori, has passed the entrance exam to the high school that they desperately want their children to attend. They are eager to hear from Saejima Kaori on what was used to help her son pass the exam. Saejima Kaori reveals the existence of exam coordinator Kujo Ayaka. Kujo Ayaka only tutors two students a year and charges an extraordinary fee, but she gets her students into any school that they want. She boasts a 100% success rate.

Kenichi (Joe), a young, good-hearted doctor, suffers from a rare syndrome whereby his feelings cannot be hidden => such people are known as "satorare" and their well-being come under special government protection. As all the young doctor's thoughts/feelings are always heard by hospital colleagues, this creates much inconvenience to them and they try to drive him away. In steps a beautiful female doctor (Mayu) who tries to shield him from the cruel reality of his uniqueness. As a result, Kenichi falls in love with her and his feelings are broadcast through his thoughts to everyone around him

The drama series is based on the manga and anime of the same name, both created by Fujisawa Tohru. The story is a sequel of lesser knownseries Shounan Jun'ai-gumi (Shounan Love Gang) where Onizuka Eikichi's rogue high school days are depicted. Sorimachi Takashi plays Onizuka Eikichi, a graduate of a third-rate University and the leader of a motorcycle gang, whose lifelong dream is to become a teacher. After being hired by a seemingly eccentric director, Onizuka begins his unconventional way of teaching a hopeless group of troublemakers. Although he meets much opposition from the students and teachers themselves, his passion for teaching, and more importantly, his students, eventually convinces everyone that Onizuka truly has the makings of a great teacher.

The new season opens with a string of deadly incidents involving guns sent to various people by someone known as "Summer Claus." The weapons seem to be part of a batch of 27 stolen guns, and so far 14 of them have been given out. Now it's up to Usagi and the rest of the SIT to recover the remaining 13 before there are any more casualties.

With the overall achievement of a well-off society in 2020 as the background, the theme is grand. But in storytelling, it is not from a grand perspective, but to explore the lives of ordinary people.
