"Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is a romantic comedy about a pianist named Goo La La who hits rock bottom after her family’s sudden downfall. Sun Hee from the Department of Film stops by the school one day to get a letter of recommendation from Professor Choi to leave to the US. She expects him to write her a nice one since he took favor to her. She runs into two men from the past she's never met in a long time; Moon Soo, a recently turned movie director and senior director Jae Bak.

They give each other so called 'advice in life'. The men try to clear her from their heads as they don't know what she's thinking but these words of 'advice seem to be moving from people to people. This life 'advice' seems to be slipping away, leaving no trust and Sun Hee's attitude towards the men seem like they have nothing to do with her.

Sun Hee gets her letter of recommendation from the professor and has four days before she leaves but the men still wander around her.

University student Hae-Won wants to break up with Teacher Sung-Joon. They have had a secret relationship. Hae-Won meets her mother, who is going to emigrate to Canada tomorrow. After meeting her mother, Hae-Won feels depressed and decides to meet Sung-Joon for the first time in a long while. On that day, Hae-Won and Sung-Joon happen to meet students at a restaurant who study the same major, and their relationship becomes known to others. Hae-Won becomes more depressed. Sung-Joon then suggests they run away somewhere else.

Pil Yong has been forever a lowly public official of 7th grade in Jeonju, South Korea.

3 years ago his wife Hyo Kyung collapsed of a cerebral infarction largely due to him. Pil Yong took his son to a relative and now takes care of his wife who has difficulty in moving. Pil Yong wants to be promoted to a deputy director in the higher 5th grade before he retires.

Pil Yong finds out that his new boss is interested in hanji (traditional Korea paper). Because of this, Pil Yong transfers to the hanji department.

Meanwhile, documentary filmmaker Ji Won shoots a documentary about hanji. To make her documentary, Ji Won travels throughout the country. By chance, Ji Won meets Pil Yong and they do not get along with each other. She learns that Pil Yong plans to restore a copy of the annals of the Joseon Dynasty using hanji of a traditional kind. Ji Won joins Pil Yong.

Pil Yong becomes obsessed with his project. A strange mood starts to brew between Pil Yong and Ji Won. Hyo Kyung notices the change in her husband. Also, the project is on the verge of collapsing.

Song Ok Sook's husband walked out their family after his business went bankrupt. For the past 15 years she has raised her three daughters up to the best of her abilities. Her husband comes back into their lives and acts as if nothing's happened. To make matters worst, her eldest daughter, Ji Won, who is a doctor, tells her that she wants to marry Sung Soo, a man who she doesn't like.

In the countryside, at a Catholic Church, luxurious cars come rolling in. A wedding is set to take place between Ji Hong and Yu Ri. The couple met as music club members at their university. Their friends from their university days are all arriving, most of whom they haven't seen in 10 years.

Seung Ho is now a lawyer and married. Hyeong Woo is now a university professor who is persistently single. Kyeong Ho is now a PD at a television station. Seong Ju is now a businesswoman who brought along her boyfriend 12 years her junior. Min Hee has a stable family.

All of these friends are in the middle thirties. During the wedding, the friends notice that one person from their music club, Jeong Hee, is missing from the wedding. After the wedding, all the friends gather together at the vacation home operated by Ji Hong and Yu Ri. During the evening a young girl named Mi Rae appears at the vacation home. She informs the group that Yeong Hee was her mother and she died in a car accident one month ago. Furthermore, she tells everyone that she came here to meet her father. Tension, shock, and surprise then overtake the gathered friends as they recall their relationships with Yeong Hee.

Yu Jin is a single girl with lots of boyfriends. One morning, she wakes up and finds herself in a hotel room with a faint memory of having slept with a man in the previous night. She had a wild party and got drunk to the point where she couldn't tell whom she was with, so she makes a list of several potential suspects. Cheol Jin, who has been one of her best friends since college, is among them, but she's convinced that it couldn't be him because he's too shy for anything like that.

Moo Yeol is a taekwondo instructor who falls for Eun Jae at first sight when she comes and asks him to help her find gold treasures at the agency. Hee Kyung is a tarot card master and Yong Soo is a manhwa shop owner who passes his days with no dreams nor hopes but gets involved in the gold hunting simply for fun. Moo Yeol, Hee Kyung, and Yong Soo gather together at the empty Inquiry Agency office and they discover a dead corpse in the basement. The four of them later decide to start a treasure hunting project.

This is also a drama without a love story.

A power struggle between the ruling party and the opposing party!!! Opposing party senator gets killed in a conspiracy whereby the senate gets divided in half with the two parties occupying 136 seats each. The senate is divided in half, and the nation's focus turns to the city of Surak, where the by-election will take place. The two parties go out of their way to win the race in Surak, trying to become the senate's majority party. What was expected to be a close race between the ruling and opposing parties the turns into an unpredictable race as one of Surak's prostitutes joins the race. The two parties begin to feel threatened as the unexpected prostitute candidate slowly begins to eat up popularity and support of Surak's people.
