Kitada Gaku is gifted in mathematics. He dreamed of becoming a mathematician, but he gave up on his dream. He now spends his days without purpose. One day, he happens to meet a genius chef named Asakura Kai. Asakura Kai leads Kitada Gaku into the culinary world. Kitada Gaku soon joins Asakura Kai's two star restaurant K, where talented chefs from all around the world work together and learn together. There, Kitada Gaku also learns about cooking and develops his own recipes derived from mathematical thought.

Meanwhile, Yamamoto Chihiro is Hayami Honoka's co-worker in the same department. He joined the company 3 years after Hayami Honoka. When he was a child, Yamamoto Chihiro and his two brothers did the housework at his home, while his mother was busy with her job. Because of this, Yamamoto Chihiro is excellent at doing household chores. Due to a case, he happens to learn that Hayami Honoka's home is a mess. He begins to stay with Hayami Honoka on the condition of doing the house work.

It is the autumn of 2019, one year since Miyamoto Akiko (Ayase Haruka) re-entered the workforce. Her job is based in Osaka and she has been living in apart from her step daughter Miyuki (Kamishiraishi Moka) who is in Tokyo. Headhunted by a major consulting firm Acxel Business Partners, Akiko has been working energetically. She has achieved such remarkable results that the 10 years she devoted to raising Miyuki after her husband Ryoichi (Takenouchi Yutaka) passed away, is not a noticeable blank. Miyuki is now a lovely first-year university student who still does things at her own pace. She joined the university’s entrepreneurship club and continues to work part-time. Her relationship with childhood friend Kuroda Hiroki (Inowaki Kai) seems the same even though she rejected his feelings a year ago. One day, Akiko is suddenly fired and goes back to Tokyo. She visits Miyuki’s apartment only to see Mugita Akira (Sato Takeru), the owner of Bakery Mugita where Miyuki works part-time, come out topless from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. To make matters worse, a baby boy is clutched in his arms. Then Miyuki returns home. Akiko jumps to the conclusion that this baby is their child. Miyuki and Mugita deny it, leaving Akiko confused by this perplexing situation.

Three murder cases take place in Tokyo. Numbers are left at the murder scenes, possibly hinting at where the next murder will take place. An investigation begins of the serial killer and Detective Nitta Kosuke works on the case. He believes the next murder will take place at Hotel Koruteshia Tokyo. To catch the killer, Kosuke goes undercover and begins working at the front desk of the hotel.

People tell lies with words through their cerebral neocortex. However, the moment before a person does so, the mental reflexes of the limbic system will be apparent. There is a female detective who can see through the lies of suspects by reading their “micro-gestures” which only appear for 0.2 seconds. Her name is Tateoka Ema. No lies are lost on her. She is an interrogation specialist who uses behavioral psychology to force suspects to eventually confess their lies. She boasts a 100% success rate, and claims there is not a single person whose lies she has not been able to detect, and is called "Enma-sama" (King of Hades) by her colleagues because of her ability. She also proclaims herself a “forever 28” who seeks the perfect marriage partner. But even though detecting lies are her specialty, it's not always as easy as it would seem to get to the whole truth of a matter.

Natsuko Miyamoto (48), a full-time housewife and mother of two (daughter Hana, 20, and son Kotaro, 17), is shocked when her husband Akira (54) announces that he will quit his job to explore his long-term interests in agriculture. In turn, Natsuko decides to seek employment of her own, but faces rejection due to inexperience and age. After a confusing mishap, she finds new hope for her life skills in an unexpected place -- a poorly managed supermarket.

Mikuri Moriyama (Yui Aragaki) is 25 years old. She doesn't have a boyfriend and doesn't have a job even though she holds a graduate degree. Everyday, Mikuri Moriyama has a feeling that she is not needed. Her father, unable to see her suffering anymore, arranges for her to work as a housekeeper. Her employer is 36 year old Hiramasa Tsuzaki. He is single and works for a company. A series of events leads them to marry as a working condition.

Toyama Kinshiro is a 30-year-old newly-appointed police chief at Kitamachi Police Station who firmly believes his mission as a policeman is to listen to every voice of innocent citizens and protect the peace in the community. He comes off as aloof and a bit quirky at first, but in fact he has brilliant investigative instincts and spots clues that no one else can detect. Unlike his elite career bureaucrat colleagues, Kinshiro doesn't dress or act like a stereotypical Chief Police. Rather than sitting behind a desk, Kinshiro leaves the office and literally goes around town to do the investigation work, and go the extra mile to solve any crime regardless how small or trivial. Debt-ridden, the company accountants resort to window-dressing the financial statements in order to hide the truth from the public. Three months after the loan, Nishi Osaka Steel goes bankrupt and the ambitious and power-hungry Asano makes Hanzawa the scapegoat for the 500 million loss. Hanzawa is called to Tokyo to answer to the internal investigations team, where he vehemently denies responsibility for the loss, and swears to recover the 500 million yen. That is the only course of action for Hanzawa, if he wants to survive in the banking industry.

Yonekura Ryoko plays a 35 year old woman who mysteriously goes back to high school as a student.

In the fictional town of Mahoro on the outskirts of Tokyo is Tada Benriken, a small business which does odd jobs. French chef Ken travels back in time to Sengoku period. Due to travelling through the timeslip, Ken has lost his memory, but still retains his knowledge on fine cuisine. Thanks to his excellence in cuisine, Ken eventually becomes the chef to powerful daimyo Nobunaga Oda.

Koji is a college student and aspiring photographer. One day, while Koji is taking pictures of families in a Tokyo park, a man suddenly appears within his camera's view and interrupts his shot. However, he's later contacted by the man with an odd request. Without revealing the purpose of the job, he asks Koji to take photographs of a woman who walks through the park with her young daughter. Koji agrees, but the strange task leads to changes in the relationships he has with the women in his life.

Those women include a longtime friend that Koji can talk to about anything and his step-sister, who offers both kindness and firm encouragement when he needs it. As Koji photographs the new third woman in his life, he feels as if she reminds him of someone from a distant memory.

Upon their return to Tokyo, everyone goes their separate way. However, Chigusa is one day reunited with Taketo, when she goes to his clinic to fix her terrible toothache.

Hayakawa Ai (Hirosue Ryoko) commits a crime which lands her in a correction facility for juveniles. There she meets & becomes firm friends with four other delinquents & falls in love with one of the wardens, Ariake Yu (Mikami Hiroshi), an artist with secrets....

Odoru Daisousasen is a Japanese drama, with some comedic moments. It originally ran for 11 episodes, and has spawned several TV specials and four full-length theatrical movies.plays a character named Aoshima Shunsaku, an ex-computer salesman, who decides one day that he wants to be a detective. He soon becomes a detective at the Wangan Police Station where he encounters various cases and deals with the police bureaucracy.

Nana is a servant of the Kazahaya family, She is from a samurai family. Her father was about to reveal wrongdoings within the domain but had to commit ritual suicide for a crime he hadn't done. Ichinoshin tries to correct the wrongdoings, but end up being a target himself.
