Kim Sun Ja was born and raised in Busan, Korea in the early 20th century, while Korea was under Japanese rule. She falls in love with a man named Koh Han Su. She can see that he is a powerful person and from a different social class from her, but she is unaware of his complete background. Meanwhile, a church priest named Baek Isak comes to stay at the lodge run by Kim Sun Ja's mother. When he learns of Kim Sun Ja's situation, he tries to give her advice, but, when he experiences her unwavering conviction, he offers to marry her. Kim Sun Ja soon moves to Japan and faces difficult times as a Korean immigrant living in a unfamiliar land.

In New York in 1989, Baek Solomon is determined to succeed in the corporate world. A company wants to build a new hotel in Tokyo, but a Korean woman refuses to sell her land where the hotel is to be built. Baek Solomon offers to his bosses to travel to Tokyo and persuade the woman to sell her land to the hotel group. He also goes to see his family there.

Kuki Reiko is a single 27-year-old. who works in the accounting department of a mid-size toy manufacturer. An incident from her past makes her live a frugal life, only buying the necessities. A year ago, she found small dishes at a secondhand store that liked immediately. Since then, she has been returning to that shop, still debating whether to buy them or not. Finally, when she decides to make the 1680 yen ($15 ) purchase., she enters the secondhand store with great anticipation, only to have it dashed when she sees a couple buying the small dishes on a whim. Imagine her surprise when she recognizes Saruwatari Keita, her boss‘s son!

A few days later, Reiko goes to work and only to find Keita in the accounting department. His father got angry at his wastefulness and sent him there to learn the value of money. As the frugal Reiko is best-suited to teach him, he will find himself an apt student. But will her advice be just about money?

Takahata Isao’s animated artistry in Only Yesterday (1991) comes to life in Hakota Yuko’s delicate story of a woman’s mnemonic journey. Toko Ikuta lost her parents in a car accident at the age of 3. Afterwards, her uncle, who ran a barbershop in Morioka, raised her and she had a happy childhood. Toko Ikuta was active as a local idol and she dreamed of becoming an actress. At the age of 19, she is set to take an audition in Tokyo. The day before her audition, on March 11, 2011, the great Tohoku earthquake and tsunami hits Japan. In the autumn of 2011, Toko Ikuta works at a cafe. She goes with her Korean co-worker Han to do volunteer work in Kesennuma as the area recovers from the devastating tsunami. There, Toko Ikuta meets Kiyotaka Shimizu who is a university student from Tokyo and a member of a student volunteer group. While spending time together in Kesennuma, Toko Ikuta and Kiyotaka Shimizu develop feelings for each other.

Takada Yu is an employee of a development firm. His father has favored his high-achieving older brother and been indifferent to Yu since young. So Yu craves for his father’s love and wants his recognition somehow. Then one day, Yu encounters a woman. Although it was the worst possible meeting, he gradually starts to have romantic feelings for her through work and an unexpected development. Takuma is actually a topnotch criminal profiler called specialists in Japan, and at the time of his arrest, he was attached to the Kyoto Prefectural Police. Takakura Kiichiro, the deputy of the Kyoto Prefectural Police, comes to greet Takuma to inform him of his reinstatement to the Special Investigations Task Force.

On Fuki's fourteenth birthday, Masami promises to confess everything when Fuki becomes 20 years old. After her graduation from high school, Fuki moves to Tokyo to work as a camera assistant. Fuki starts off her hectic life in Tokyo, and soon, her nineteenth birthday comes. As usual, she receives a birthday card from Masami. A year later... Uploader's Comments: If you're looking for a relaxing film, this might be you're looking for. I just wish they'd toned down the dorama shenanigans that really spoils the later part, at least for me. But Yu is, as always, sweeter than sugar and could probably melt all the ice of Antarctica if she wanted to. So that lessens the blow considerably. Kurata Kenta lives with his father, Taichi, his mother, Keiko, and his younger sister, Nana in an isolated home in the suburbs. He works as an unpopular commercial designer. Kurata Kenta possesses a timid personality, which he picked up from his father. Kenta doesn't like his father. One day, while waiting for the train, Kenta warns a man who pushed a woman and cut in line. Kenta is surprised that he spoke out with his normally timid personality. After that incident, Kenta's family home is targeted by an unknown person with flowers from their garden being pulled out and the seat of a bicycle being torn. Also, Kenta's younger sister Nana is stalked by her ex-boyfriend. Kenta and his family try to find out who is responsible.

Kubota Shu, who runs a temporary employment agency, is clubbed to death with a bat. A metal bat believed to be the murder weapon as well as something that looks like an old toy are found at the crime scene. Takakura Kiichiro (Osugi Ren), the commissioner of the Kyoto Prefectural Police, orders Takuma Yoshito (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) to go to the crime scene. Takuma and the other members of the Special Investigation Unit begin the investigation. They learn that the old toy is part of a set of seven “Protect Kyoto” character figurines of different occupations which were made while Takuma was in the Kyoto Prefectural Police’s Public Relations Division some 10 years ago. This time, the toy placed at the crime scene stands for public prosecutor. Oddly, Kubota was a former senior prosecutor of the Kyoto Public Prosecutors’ Office. Takuma says this is a case that he must solve and tells his regular partner, Anegakoji Chinami (Minami Kaho), that he is dissolving their partnership. He starts to investigate on his own and discovers that a “Protect Kyoto” character figurine wearing a police uniform was left at the scene of the murder of Chinami’s husband, Takehiko, who had been a police officer. There is a ring of truth to what the prisoner, Sagami Wakahiro (Kamikawa Takaya), had previously talked about. “The case of Anegakoji-san’s husband 12 years ago and your wrongful conviction are connected.” Suspicious of Takuma’s actions, Chinami presses him for an explanation, and gets the truth out of him. Takuma does not want to get her involved because he does not know what danger lies ahead. But she gets the upper hand and begins to investigate the case 12 years ago with Matsubara Yuiko (Ashina Sei), Horikawa Kohei (Hiraoka Yuta) and the rest of the Special Investigation Unit. They identify several cases where the character figurines were left behind at the crime scenes. What is the association between the figurines which Takuma made and these cases? As Takuma and the members get to the bottom of the matter, they come to the least expected person. In addition, the shocking truth regarding Takuma’s conviction is revealed … …

A series of mishaps occur overnight at a love hotel located in the famous Kabukicho red light district, where people with shady secrets and conspiracies flock to. Toru, a young hotel manager who is understandably distraught when he encounters two unexpected guests. The first is his girlfriend, an aspiring singer who's agreed to sleep with a music executive in exchange for a record deal. The other is his sister, an actor in the porn shoot on the hotel's second floor. Before the night is through, many more characters — including a young Korean woman working as a "delivery girl" in order to raise the money to open a shop back home — will experience surprising, life-changing events in these busy hallways and bedrooms.

“IS” stands for “intersexual,” a term referring to people who cannot clearly be classified as male or female, and who may biologically possess characteristics of both sexes. Rokuhana's manga primarily deals with the troubles faced by the young Hoshino Haru (played by Fukuda), an intersexual who was registered as a girl at birth but has been raised as a boy.

Goriki plays Aihara Miwako, a mysterious classmate who tries to get close to Haru. Inoue Masahiro has been cast as Ibuki Kenji, a member of the soccer club whom Haru begins having feelings for. Nishida Naomi and Minami Kaho play Miwako's and Haru's mothers, respectively.

Yokai are major figures of Japanese folklore, spirits that occupy virtually everything in the world around us. Some, such as the turtle-like Kappa, are relatively well known, but there are hundreds of others, maybe even thousands. They are the spiritual element of everything in the world around us, and as such they deserve to be treated with respect. But humanity isn't much good at respect. We consume, destroy, wear out and discard with no thought to anything but ourselves, a situation very distressing to the yokai, so distressing that the villainous Kato - accompanied by his deadly assistant Agi, played by Battle Royale and Kill Bill's Chiaki Kuriyama - has concocted an extreme response. Kato is gathering up yokai of all sorts, preying upon the harmless and the weak, and forcibly fusing them with discarded metallic junk to create vicious killing machines that he plans to unleash on humanity. And who must stop Kato's evil plot? Young Tadashi, a pre-teen boy gone to live in the country following his parents' divorce. Tadashi is crowned the Kirin Rider at a local festival, a title everyone assumes is honourary until it turns out no, it falls to Tadashi to travel to find the Great Goblin and retrieve the magical sword that is the only hope of defeating Kato.
