Born to a single mom working as a maid, Shin Ae gives up her studies to work as a salesperson in a department store. Shin Ae has a crush on Jung Min, a manager at the store she works in. Smart and capable, Jung Min is involved in a secret relationship with Mi Na. However, Mi Na’s parents disapprove of Jung Min’s ordinary background. When Shin Ae finds out that Jung Min and Mi Na are a couple, she is greatly disappointed. This is when a clumsy but lovable young man named Yeong Min meets Shin Ae. The two find comfort in each other and end up getting married. However, their happiness is cut short when Yeong Min and his parents die in a plane crash. Shin Ae is devastated by the sudden loss in the early days of her marriage. However, there is an unexpected twist, Yeong Min’s father had actually been a huge investor and major shareholder in the department store! Shin Ae inherits the wealth that she had always dreamed of. Shin Ae, who had only been able to dream about becoming rich, is now indisputably part of the upper class. However, her changed status does not bring her true happiness. Moreover, unable to accept that Shin Ae has risen to her status, Mi Na hatches a scheme against her, creating conflict and conspiracy over the ownership of the department store. Meanwhile, Shin Ae continues to have feelings for Jung Min. This drama is an epic tale of love and competition between two high school classmates from completely different worlds, each trying to become a truly noble lady.

Set during the reign of King Sukjong in the Joseon dynasty, the story focuses on Dong Yi, a water maid who gains the trust of Queen Inhyeon and later the favour of the king when he is moved by her prayers for the health of the Queen during the court disputes caused by Jang Hee Bin. Dong Yi becomes a concubine with the rank of sook-bin and bears a son who will later become the 21st king of Joseon, Yeongjo.

The drama centered around the work life of the employees at Will Auction, an auction house dealing in arts. Cha Yun Soo was a rookie hired by Will Auction even though she had no background in arts and what's more, her father was once convicted of art forgery. She overcame obstacles by working hard and proving that she could be trusted. She aspired to be an auctioneer like her superior, Min Soo Rin. Oh Yoon Jae was the senior specialist at the firm and would take any risk to uncover the truth.

A Korean love story about a young couple's enduring love, which is tested when 27 year old Sun-jin is diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimer's disease"A Moment To Remember" is one of just a handful of movies that made tears come down my face. Life, death, happiness, grief, come together in a magnificent production, with brilliant acting, especially by Woo-sung Jung, splendid cinematography, and a wonderful soundtrack. Some criticism might be levied against the film for it taking some liberties with reality, but I'll leave those for the nit-pickers to gaggle over. As with any foreign film, there are small things that fill out the film for those familiar with the culture and language. This film was wonderful not only on its merits as a film, but also as a reflection of Korean culture. Excellent film - most-highly recommended.
