Jan Dara is a 2012 Thai film that is based on a novel by Pramool Unhathoop, The Story of Jan Dara. Based on a famous Thai erotic novel, the film tells the story of Jan, a boy who grows up in a house lorded over by his sadistic and debauched father, Luang Wisnan. Set in the 1930s the story recounts the growing pains of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and who's intensely hated by his father. Jan grows up with Aunt Wad, his stepmother, and he struggles to reconcile his guilt and longing with different women in his life, including a girl called Hyacinth, whom he adores, and later Madame Boonleung, his father's lover who becomes a key to Jan's sexual awakening

Otomo Kyoichi works at an advertising company. He has an indecisive personality. Even though he is married, he repeatedly has affairs. One day, a man appears in front of Kyoichi. The man is Imagase Wataru. Wataru graduated from the same university as Kyoichi. It's the first time they have met since Kyoichi graduated. Wateru currently works for a jack of all trades agency that does anything for their customers. He is sent by Kyoichi's wife to investigate whether Kyoichi is having an affair. Wataru tells Kyoichi that he has liked him for the past 7 years. After being retrenched from his job at a Tokyo securities firm, Tsunezue Riichi decides to return to his hometown to work. Xiao befriends Amao, a 36-foot crocodile, who lives on his father's croc sanctuary. Soon his father is forced to sell the crocodiles to a gangster who plans to use them for high priced meals. Before Amao is slaughtered, he escapes slaying his captors in the process. In the chaos, Amao accidentally swallows a cellphone with the location of 1 million dollars. When the rumors of this spread, the locals are split in two: some afraid for their lives, others set out to capture and kill the crocodile at any cost.

This TV series focuses on topics revolving around women such as sexuality, dating, same-sex relationships, egg freezing, sex addiction, custody rights, and dating.

Bo Hee works at a toy company. She is viewed favorably at work and is set for a promotion, but when she made a stupid mistake, she was then fired from her job. The film was shown at the 1995 London Film Festival and actor Mickey Curtis won the Kinema Junpo Award award for best supporting actor in 1996 for his work in the film.

Kajiki Hidemaru, Chu-san, and Yuki are patients at a psychiatric hospital in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture. Hidemaru killed his mother and daughter-in-law. Chu-san used to work as a salaryman, but he suffers from auditory hallucinations. Yuki is a high school student and she refuses to go to school. Due to that, she receives outpatient treatment.

Moonless Dawn follows three junior high school students in the midst of such difficulties. Kou is adrift in life, with no sense of purpose or direction, Yuka fills the void inside her by dating strangers she meets on the street, and Saki is stuck in the middle of never ending fights between her parents, unable to feel comfortable at home or in school. For Yuka and Saki, music by their favourite artist is a welcome escape from their everyday lives, until one day it is all taken offline. Without a soundtrack to immerse themselves in, the girls seek out the producer and discover life beyond the music.
