Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Huang Cai Wei was engaged to Bai Qian Feng when he went missing on a business trip and presumed dead. She was then forced to marry his brother Bai Qian Sheng. His obvious favoritism of her incited jealousy in his other wives, especially his primary wife Ma Fu Fang. Huang managed to outmaneuver many of the women's ploy using her wits. She is now the team leader at the divorce settlement office Solution. She punishes bad spouses and provides help for those who find themselves in unfair divorce situations.

She works with Dong Ki Joon. He is Sa Ra’s business partner and an advisory lawyer at Solution. Before coming to Solution, he was an excellent prosecutor who had the nickname of "German Shepherd." He picked up the nickname because of his persistence and keen intuition, but Ki Joon left the prosecutors' office for an unknown reason. Sa Ra and Ki Joon work together for people who are suffering through difficult divorces.

Kiriyama Shuichiro works as an information management officer in the prefectural police station. As he is very observant and has interest in the unresolved cases which have gone past the legal time frame (statute of limitations) i.e. the culprit cannot be charged even if he/she is caught, he investigates the cases without permission with the aim of "confirming" the culprit only. Some charateristics of this character would be his dark green spectacles, his wallet containing 20,000 yen at all times and he likes udon and nyuumen.

Yue Ying was pushed down the stairs by her boyfriend, and accidentally crossed into the Great Zhou Dynasty, and became the owner of Shiniu Village. She fell in love with Tie Yi at first sight when he was robbing the official food. Then, they and their friends team up to unravel the mystery behind what happened and fall in love with each other.

It was the year 1993, a couple of years after Japan's economy bubble burst. Life was tough for Fuyuki Aki, as she tried to prove herself in a society where men were still favored over women for promotions and even in simple things like regular permanent jobs, the women were often passed over for men. Amidst all her struggles and frustrations in her job, her ex-boyfriend Sato Yasushi, who happened to be her colleague, announced his upcoming marriage to the girl from the admin department. Aki had broken up with Yasushi two years ago, as she had despaired over her career in the male-dominated company, feeling helpless thinking about her futile efforts to progress her career. Her anger at her situation transformed into anger at all men, which in turn caused her to disregard Yasushi's feelings. Unexpectedly, Yasushi's announcement made her felt out of sorts.

On the day of the wedding, at the entrance welcoming the guests was Yasushi's mother, Sachiko. Aki had gotten on very well with Sachiko back when she was dating Yasushi, but since their break-up 2 years ago, she had lost all contact with her. On that day, Sachiko had pressed a letter into her hands while they were greeting each other. In it Sachiko wrote, "I had believed that you and I were bound by fate. Synopsis: The lakorn starts out with our pra’ek Tawan Chai (played by Win) rushing back to Thailand from England, after hearing that his grandfather and Uncle passed away in an accident. Tawan Chai believes he is the only living heir to his family fortune. After his uncle and grandfather’s funeral, the will was read. Tawan Chai is surprise to discovered that he’s not the only heir and he might have to share his inheritance with a mystery person. He learned from the Will manager about his uncle’s past. His uncle used to have a greedy wife, Wannaa. Wannaa started out as a servant in the Simandtraa household. Then, she seduced Tawan’s uncle and upped her status to Mistress of the house. Apparently Wannaa was a total bitch and drove the uncle crazy. When Tawan’s grandfather saw that his son was in distress, he decided to send his son aboard. Before he left, Tawan’s uncle discovered that Wannaa was pregnant. When the uncle came back to Thailand, Tawan’s grandfather told him that his wife ran off with a guy. Though his wife drove him crazy, the uncle still loved her and was deeply depressed over her departure. He remained single for the rest of his life. Fast-forward a couple years later, Wannaa is a middle age woman with 3 kids. Her oldest daughter is Torfan, a very street smart young woman with a heart of gold. Wannaa second oldest is Woonsen, a spoiled teenage girl who loves to dress provocatively to attract men. Look Chin is the only boy and the youngest in the family. Woonsen and Look Chin have the same father, while Torfan is fathered by a “mystery” man. In the family, Torfan is the only person trying to make money to support the family. Wannaa is still the nasty and greedy woman of her earlier years. She makes Torfan handle all the family affairs and lazy around. Torfan is forced to work odd jobs and swindle people in order to put food on the table. One day, she meets up with Tawan Chai and his gf Nok-Yoong. She ran in front of their car and pretended that they hit her. Tawan didn’t buy it. Realizing that her cover was blown, she screamed and acted her way out of it. From this moment on, Tawan Chai develops a negative impression of Torfan. On day, the Simandtraa family representive found Wannaa and informed her about the Will. Without hesitation, Wannaa tells them that Torfan is the long lost grandchild. Torfan knows that is not but decides to go along with it because she needed the money. She needs the money to support her family and pay for school tutition for herself and her little brother. Torfan and her family moves into the Simandtraa mansion and Tawan is not too happy about it. The job of the unit is to provide all sorts of information such as the progress of an investigation or trial, give advice as well as help out in the lives of victims, who have unwittingly ended up involved in crimes, and their family members. This work is not confined to specialised knowledge-based support, but covers a wide range from being there for scarred victims, assisting in funeral services to dealing with the mass media and arranging for taxis for moves. While unit members may visit a scene with investigators, they have not been empowered with the authority to investigate so far. However, Togakure Tetsuya (Takahashi Katsunori) who was once a detective of the Kyoto Prefectural Police’s First Investigative Division, has the conviction that what victims and their family want to know the most, is the truth. He would embark on his own informal investigations as an extension of the usual assistance, with the backing of Iwase Koichiro (Matsudaira Ken), the head of the Police Affairs Department, and guides cases to swift resolution.
