King of Mask Singer is a South Korean singing competition program starting Celebrities. Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. They are given elaborate masks to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, both contestants sing the same song, while in the second and third round they each sing a solo song. The winners of each pair are selected by the audience and panel of celebrities through instant live votes.

The identities of the singers are not revealed until they have been eliminated. The winner of the third round challenges the previous competition's Mask King, and is either eliminated or becomes the new Mask King.

Celebrity dads are left to care for their kids alone for 48 hours without the help of anyone, while their wives leave the home to enjoy some relaxing time off. The wives are shown leaving the home before the 48 hours begins and coming back to greet their family once the 48 hours have ended. During the 48 hours, the dads and children are either doing a task the wives have written out for the dads to complete or the dads exploring new activities with their kids. Occasionally celebrity friends of the dads will stop by to interact with the kids.

The members of this show go to unexpected places with their backpacks. From the mountains to the sea, they go wherever their clients call them. Baek Jong Won leads the team, and Oh Dae Hwan, Ahn Bo Hyun, and DinDin join the team. The four members will pack their backpacks to go cater food. A request sheet is given to them, and they will find out the details about the mission when they arrive at the location. They need to be prepared for every possible situation since they have no idea what will happen to them. What will the members pack in their backpacks to satisfy their clients? And what kind of food will they create in various situations?

The show focuses on two things: one is the documentary itself. Their work is probably raw in terms of the technique, but the voice in it is very loud and clear: human and nature should live together. The other is the production story. Joy, frustration, and a sense of accomplishment in making a documentary will be another fun element of the show.
